Staying out of data broker databases

Now that your information is out of all those databases, we need to talk about KEEPING you out of those databases.

The single most important thing you can do to keep your name and information from spreading is by opting out of your name being sold whenever and wherever you possibly can.

This means before you sign up for a new product, you take the time to view the options or checkboxes, and you make sure the company will not be selling your information.

Some companies make you check the box to opt out; some companies make you uncheck the box to opt out. Take your time and read it.
